Works in Progress

I really haven't had much time to dedicate to my quilting/gardening/cooking this week. The universities in Austin were on spring break and it was SXSW so that means a ton of work for me at the Bed and Breakfast! The ironing was ridiculous! I don't think I've ever had to do so many checkouts in one week. Every checkout equals one more set of sheets for me to iron. Those sheets sure stack up quickly!

The quilt is coming along slowly but surely. I have started to piece together the strips I talked about in an earlier post. I think I'm about half way done with this step.

As for the garden... We worked on it quite a bit last weekend and almost finished the landscape timber border. I should be working on it today, but it is really windy. I'm feeling a little prissy, and I don't want to be cold today! The goal is to finish the border by this afternoon and I'll work on raking out the dirt during the week. I just really hope this wind goes away!

Today, I've been busy today cleaning things up around the house and baking another loaf of orange cranberry walnut bread! Yummy!!!
