April feels like it has slipped through my fingers! I have been slacking this month, especially with my blog entries. I had the wind knocked out of me at the beginning of this month when Parker found out that he will be laid off on July 15th. The chances are high (almost certain) that Parker and I will be leaving our little house, our friends, and our city soon. Parker is a mechanical engineer. Unfortunately, Austin doesn't have much of a job market for that field. Of course, the layoff is much more stressful for Parker, but it left me feeling helpless and unmotivated. Every time I did something in the garden or around the house, I had a what's the point feeling. BUT, now that the sting of the unexpected has dulled a little, I am doing the best that I can to go about my business like normal. I'll worry about the future when it gets here.
