Winter garden babies!

After all of the hard work a spring/summer garden in Texas demands, my fall/winter garden has felt like a horticultural dream!

Parker and I built our garden last March and have successfully cultivated two seasons of growth! Last season's garden required constant attention. There was always watering, weeding, fertilizing, or pest management to be done. The current garden has required the same things but much less frequently. Well, I probably should weed a little more, but right now it doesn't seem to be causing too many problems.

We are growing a wide variety of veggies in the garden this season! We have kale, collard greens, radishes, beets, swiss chard, artichokes, and cauliflower growing with moderate success. The standout veggies are the mustard greens, spinach, broccoli, and turnips.
